9/11 in NYC

Life brought me to New York City & I was surprised that it coincided with the anniversary of the September 11th World Trade Center attack.

I got off from my work day at the office, and decided to pay my respects and visit the memorial site near Wall Street.

I picked up a Citibike rental bicycle, and rode south.

I passed by Washington Square Park & the New York University campus:

As I reached lower Manhattan, I noticed a large traffic backup–it was exiting Manhattan for New Jersey via a tunnel:

I reached the World Trade Center and parked my Citibike:

The sun was setting quickly:

Having returned my bicycle and made my visit, I progressed back to Brooklyn from Manhattan in the dusk:
