Euro Architecture

As I traveled Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy my eye was attracted to the distinct building styles I did not recognize from the USA.

Here are some photos and observations to accompany them.

Simply put: there is a level of detail to architectural facades that is not found in the USA:

Epic entranceways that tell stories:

This door in Ancona, Italy is something to behold:

To basic shopping markets in walkable downtowns:
