San Mateo - Redwood City beer run 🍺
What: a recreational 8.5 mile running beer crawl
Date/Time: Saturday, May 6th, 2023 – 1:00PM
Where? We will start at downtown San Mateo Caltrain station. We will return to downtown San Mateo via Caltrain. In the event that Caltrain is not operating due to weekend electrification work, we can take the Samtrans bus (slightly slower & less fun).

Who: Adults, 21+ years of age
We will stop for a 🍺 (or two) at 4 bars on the stretch between San Mateo and Redwood City:
- First stop: The Swingin’ Door
- Second stop: Steamies
- Third stop: Marvin Gardens
- Final stop: Gourmet Haus Staudt
After the run we will ride on Caltrain from Redwood City north, back to downtown San Mateo (~10 minutes).
The full route is ~8.5 miles–-with quite a bit of rest stops on the way!
All abilities of running are welcome to participate–however the event will be best enjoyed at a lower bound running pace of 12 minutes/mile.
