Half Moon Bay

For a special outing, my wife and I biked from our home to the SamTrans 294 bus at Hillsdale mall, rode to Half Moon Bay, and biked to a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Here are photos from that outing–kicking things off with some delivery trucks blocking the bike lane, you’ve gotta laugh 😂

The 294 bus is hourly (weekdays and weekends), but in this case we did not have to wait for long:

We got dinner at Blue Dragon Pho, which hit the spot:

Someone was there picking up to-go on this massively overpowered e-scooter:

From downtown Half Moon Bay we rode our bikes the coastal trail, south, with thick fog and dirt segments:

We made it to the hotel in 30-40 minutes:

It was funny rolling up to the hotel entrance with our bicycles–the valets checked our bikes:

We re-traced our steps back in the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel.

Definitely a pricey option, but worth doing once.
